Brayden is a sweet guy who I enjoyed photographing a week ago..pretty laid back guy who put up with me taking a million shots of one pose. haha.  I like to try to cover all angles ya know!?:) I had fun..hope he did too!  I don’t photograph seniors too often, but it’s always a nice break from my norm.  At least I don’t have to run after seniors and make silly faces to get a smile..well most of the time I don’t anyways. haha.  Brayden plans on going to Heidelberg in the fall.

I brought out my big lens for this session..again, when I don’t have to chase kids around it’s much easier to tote the beast around.  Thanks for not running away from me Brayden, even though i’m sure you wanted to at times.:)

Despite the lack of color so far this spring, we still managed to find some color:) Thankfully!

Glad we got some urban shots in there too..as much urban as you can get in Galion, Ohio. haha.  When I told one of my clients from a bigger city that I wanted to move to the country..they said..”what, this in country!!” lol.  Maybe it is, but not country enough for me!  Maybe someday:)

I had never tried the train thing, but as one starting driving by we decided to go for it!  I didnt’t have a tripod with me so I got down and steadied myself as well as I could and lowered the shutter speed.  It was super fun and i’m so glad that train decided to whiz by while we were there!  How fun!:) Anyways, Hope you loved the pictures guys! It was wonderful working with you!

Three year old William

I have photographed this family for almost 2 years now.:)They are very sweet and i’m so thankful for them just as I am for my other returning clients!  The time I photographed William for his 2 year pictures he did nothing but RUN RUN RUN. lol. This time he was a bit slower..but was still pretty busy..although this time I could get him to look at the camera a lot more and he gave me some great shots! Especially the ones of his superman moves like in the picture below.  :)

Stella, Josie and cousin Hadley!

These girls did incredible at their session!  Seriously..a 2 year old, a 19month old and 6 month old.  I couldn’t have asked for a better session! I love how the image turned out too.:) I have known this family since Josie was in mommy’s belly and I am lucky enough to get to photograph Josie through the whole year!  I’ve been dying to photograph Stella too..with her fire red hair and blue eyes!  She’s a doll!  Hadley is their cousin and is just as photogenic with her icy blue eyes! Seriously gorgeous babies!

Emma is two!

Sweet two year old Emma!  It’s hard to believe she is already two.  I photographed her as a newborn and now she is a sweet, sassy, silly little two year old who loves to walk bare feet! lol.  Shoes are over-rated anyways!  I have had a run of very good two year olds lately!  She is no exception.  She did great for her pictures and I had fun photographing her! How could you not have fun photographing a cute face like this…

2 year old outdoor session

I”m so thankful that the weather is FINALLY starting to become nice out! We are supposed to be in the low’s 70′s on Saturday and Sunday! I”ll take it!  We have had a long winter and I’m glad to go work off some energy chasing around a 2 year old.:)

She liked to be bare foot..I don’t blame her.  Shoes are too restrictive!

April 10 on 10..the beach!

This past weekend we went to Myrtle Beach in SC, where my sister lives, for her wedding.  It was a really short trip and we didn’t have much time for play..but we did manage to get to the pool a couple times and the beach a couple times..first time only for a short moment.  The ocean was definitely not warm enough to swim in at this time of the year..(I swore it felt like I was dipping my feet in water filled with ice cubes!!) Kids are resilient though.  They didn’t seem to mind at all.  In fact my oldest got in about knee deep letting the water hit her waist..with her clothes on might I add..lol. oh well..good thing I always over-pack!  haha!  My older two have seen the ocean a few times and my third has seen it once but she doesn’t remember has it was when she was 10 months.  She liked it but was cautious…I think she thought the water was too cold to be messing around with too. She ran from it…at least the second time we went!  I wish desperately that we could go back to the Outer Banks this year, but it’s just not something in our budget this year.  There is nothing more satisfying watching your children have so much fun playing in the sun, sand, and waves.  Makes me smile just thinking about it.:) The baby was also out here with us, but strapped to my chest in our moby wrap.  (I did have my husband take a picture of me and the baby strapped to me…just to show that I was there too!!..but that is for another time. lol)

San castles are always fun..especially when you can knock them down afterward:)

I did not ask them to hold hands..they just did..all by themselves and I caught it on camera:)Makes my heart melt…and one day I will show them this when they are fighting and let them know that they do love each other.  :)

She was rejoicing in the sand…thankfully it didn’t get into anybodies eyes!! I had to inform her sadly that she should not throw the sand..I didn’t know she was going to throw it..got this shot by accident.  It is pretty cool though.

I seriously love the look on her face!! One of pure excitement and contentment. I’m so glad i’m able to capture moments of happiness on my kids like this, and also get to share in their happiness when playing with them:)

This one called to be black and white..the wind blowing through my little ones soft, wispy, blonde hair.  I love her:)

Beach time is done..walking back with her Papa!  It was definitely a whirlwind weekend, but we all had fun and my sister looked beautiful at her wedding.  Now..hopefully we brought some of this sunshine and warmth back home and it stays!  I’m so ready for summer!! Now continue on the circle and go visit  Sarah HERE for the next blog post!!
